Description: This is in fine condition and has been cleaned and oiled. It is straight when sighted down the narrow edge. There are no owner markings. All of the gradient markings are visible. This is a machinist's tool, but I can tell you, from personal experience, that a 24" blade s equally useful for woodworking. These are not only great for measuring stock, but for checking flatness of hand-planed boards. A 24" blade is also useful for checking the flatness of plane soles. You can run Starrett heads on this with no problem. This will ship in a hard-sided box with "FRAGILE" stickers on the outside.
