Description: Super rare and super clean 60cm Trek Madone Project One / Race Shop Limited full carbon road bike for sale by owner. This is a new build using a pre-owned frame and a mix of new and used parts. The frame is OCLV110--which is one of Trek's lightest carbon fiber blends--used only on its higher end models. I bought the frame on eBay and built it up with low mileage Dura Ace components. The steer tube on the Bontrager Race-XXX-Lite for is essentially uncut--so fitting should be a breeze. The carbon stem is a Bontrager Race-XXX-Lite and I think it is either 110 or 120mm. The seatpost is also Bontrager carbon. The 46mm Zeus alloy bars and SupaCaz Sticky Cush (Platinum Star Fade colorway) bar tape are brand new. (The SupaCaz was special ordered to match the silver and charcoal metallic Project One paint scheme of the frame.) The Dura Ace crankset is a standard 53/39. i don't recall offhand what the cassette range is... but I think it is a 12/25. Since this is a new build, the cables and housings, (Ultegra) chain, and (Ultegra) bottom bracket are brand new. The wheels are new-ish / super low mileage Bontrager Paradigm Comp TLR take take offs from a new Domane 5.9. A friend of mine bought that bike and upgraded to carbon wheels almost immediately--and sold me the factory wheels with the factory (Ultegra) cassette--which thus also has very low miles. A few hundred at most. I bought brand new tubes and special ordered a pair of Continental Gran Prix 4 Season "Black Edition" 25mm tires that ride super smooth and look fantastic on the bike. (Conti GP 4 Seasons are one of--if not THE--best overall road tires you can buy--a perfect mix of low rolling resistance and high puncture resistance. 5 star reviews from pretty much everyone.) The Project One frame is a super rare "ghost flames" motif that is essentially a fade from a metallic black on the front / head tube to a charcoal metallic in the rear. The silvery metallic flames are the dividing line between the two colors. It is a pre-owned frame so it has typical / normal wear and tear from normal riding--all minor and completely cosmetic. This listing has 12 pics I believe--most of them close and clear enough that you can see the tiny nicks and chips pretty easily. Frame has no cracks or crashes, no repairs, nor any other damage. These Madone frames are bulletproof and this is the exact frame used by pro teams in the Tour de France. This frame measures +/- 60cm from center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube clamp--and from center of head tube to center of seat tube. That means you typically should be between 6 ft 0 and 6 ft 4 for a fairly easy and accurate fit. A slightly shorter or slightly taller rider might work just fine with a bit more fitting. The original factory build of this bike was about $6000 with full Dura Ace + Project One custom paint. I've essentially duplicated the factory build but with newer wheels and a slightly heavier but much stronger Zeus handlebar. Aside from a couple of short test rides for fitting and adjusting, the current build has zero miles on it. Bike will be professionally boxed for shipping by the same LBS who assembled and tuned the bike for me, Fletcher Bike Studio in Houston, TX. Unless purchased locally, shipping will be through shipbikes.com. Buyer to pay flate rate of $149 for boxing and shipping to the lower 48 states. I WILL ship to Hawaii and Alaska... but buyer to pay actual boxing and shipping charges in that scenario... and no returns if shipped outside of continental U.S. Reply with any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. I've bought and sold many bikes and other items on eBay and have 790 user ratings with 100% positive feedback. That should give you a pretty good idea of who you are dealing with. I don't like surprises when I open up a box from an eBay purchase--so I try to be extremely thorough in my listings as well.
