Description: This lot consists of all three of the Tomoe Gozen paperback books by Jessica A. Salmonson: TOMOE GOZEN, THE GOLDEN NAGINATA, and THOUSAND SHRINE WARRIOR. All three of these books show their age; they also show clear signs of reading, handling, and storage. The first book has some folds in some pages. But they are all intact and readable, and this is a way to get and read these somewhat hard-to-find books on a budget. Please be sure see the photos and read the below written descriptions for a full sense of the condition of each book. TOMOE GOZEN1981, Ace, 1st printing. Book is bent a bit from handling or storage! Spine has only light, superficial creasing from previous reading. Binding is nice and tight. Spine has light wear to top and bottom edges. Front cover has visible corner and edge wear. Cover has cracking on surface around title near top edge and a smaller crack near bottom left corner. Back cover shows some corner wear., Back cover has denting of top edge and some superficial surface scratching and scuffing. Interiors of covers lightly browned from age. Pages edges lightly yellowed from age. Pages 3 through 10 have been folded or crunched—see photos! They still have folds but are still fully intact. Book has clearly been handled and read, and the folds to a few pages are unfortunate, but this is still an intact, readable copy of a hard-to-find novel. THOUSAND SHRINE WARRIOR1984, Ace, 1st printing. Spine has creasing and cratering from previous reading. Binding is still good but not tight as a newer or less-read book would be. Spine has some corner and edge wear. Front cover has a crack-like fold around top right corner and some small folds or dents in bottom right corner, as well as some edge wear and edge chipping. Back cover has corner wear, edge wear, and some superficial surface scuffing. Back cover has some fraying around bottom right corner and a small crack emanating from that corner. Interiors of covers lightly discolored from age. Pages/page edges yellowed or discolored from age. No writing, labels, stickers, stamps, or markings. This paperback has been clearly read and handled, but it's still a solid, readable copy of the most rare of the three books in this trilogy. * * * * * I do NOT use stock photos.
