It was sent to the press before the release of Edward Scissorhands and is the perfect promo for this visually stunning film. The folded booklet is printed both front and back and bound with a “rope”. The first opening reveals the gothic gates to the castle. Open it again and fold down to reveal the die-cut pop-up of the 1950’s style neighborhood with the castle looming high above. This is a special fold-out miniature standee reads ("From the director of Batman and Beetlejuice..."; "There once lived a man called Edward Scissorhands..."; "...whose hands were cold, but whose heart was warm."; "You see, Edward Scissorhands wasn't a real man - he was a creation."; "And his life forever changed the town where he lived."; the standee is shaped like a book when folded up, and when you open it, it becomes a pop-up book!) A close look reveals a 3-dimensional display of the town from the movie with the castle on the mountain behind it as well as topiaries, a Gremlin automobile, and many characters from the film. It’s very clever and displays items from your favorite film, and quite rare as it was only sent to members of the entertainment press. It measures 8 x 10 inches closed and opens to more than 10x32 inches wide.
