You're looking at an outstanding condition book which is EXTREMELY RARE, hard to find and OUT OF PRINT and a classic, comprehensive history of The Theosophical Movement of the late 19th and early 20th Century led by such figures as MADAME BLAVATSKY, COLONEL OLCOTT, THE TINGLEY SECT, MABEL COLLINS and many others--the book is an unstated FIRST EDITION published by E. P. Dutton & Company in 1925 and is a HARDCOVER with the VERY hard to find ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET! This book is in outstanding condition and the book itself has a slight smudge on the lower right corner of the page edge, very light dings on the spine and opening tips, a very small abrasion on the lower edge of the back board, slight dustwear on the upper page edge and just slight shelfwear and slight evidence of gentle browsing but NO other significant flaws; the dustjacket is fully intact with a split along the top 4/5 of the right edge of the back cover at the spine end, very small torn spots on the upper center spine edge and upper left corner of the front surface, small dings and tiny tears on the spine and opening tips, a couple of tiny tears on the center of the left edge of the back surface, some wear on the left and right edges of the jacket, a very small tear on the upper center left spine edge of the front surface, a few light scuffs and light browning of the spine edge and edges of the covers, a tiny crease on the upper left tip of the back inner flap and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws! The book is titled The Theosophical Movement, 1875-1925: A History and a Survey and it was published Anonymously by E. P. & Dutton Company in 1925; the book is an unstated 1st EDITION copy.This book is based on a series of articles appearing for several months in the magazine Theosophy.
