Description: Here is a rare 1934 gem from our British neighbors; "The Scotland Yard Mystery". It stars Gerald du Maurier, George Curzon, Belle Chrystall and Grete Natzler. A recommended title . AKA: "The Living Dead" USA title. SYNOPSIS: A criminal minded medical advisor(played by Curzon with an excellent performance), who is on the scotland yard payroll, devises a serum to use for his own benefits. He injects people with it that puts them in a state of catalepsy where they appear to be dead and then collects insurance money on the victim. This comes from a nice 16mm film transfer.
