Flick wand right and left to make the light flicker and remain steady. Roll the wand left and right to brighten and dim the light. The wand can be reprogrammed to operate a TV, and the instructions for that, are on the inside cover of the wand box. There is no box or instructions for the lantern. The lantern stands about 11 inches tall and is approximately 6 inches wide, not including the handle height. The wand is 14 inches long.
