Description: First Edition/First Printing of The Dark Forest by Cixin Liu, published by Tor in 2015. Signed by Cixin Liu (which is extremely rare for the first US edition). The very unusual part though is that the boards are WHITE, when on every other first edition copy I’ve seen they are this reddish brown. I've tried to track down how this could be (please let me know if you have an idea!), and my best guess is it was an early proof or author copy. The spine has the exact same title/author stamp that the mass released version has. The boards are simply white. I've further confirmed that Cixin Liu was on a book tour when he signed/dated this novel. This is the 2nd book in the Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy, which begins with The Three-Body Problem; Hugo winner and popular HBO series. The book is in excellent condition and is in a mylar dust jacket protector (not photographed).
