Tested w/Video: Yaesu FT- 2800M 2M FM Transceiver w/ New Mic T&R Great, w/issue

Description: This Yaesu FT 2800M 2m FM transceiver transmits and receives well. As you can see on my test meter power output reads a bit low due to the meter being designed for HF radios, not VHF. The audio from it sounds fine.....so what could be wrong? It has a good speaker in it....so what's going on? ......give up? There's no audio going INTO the speaker, BUT it sounds great with an external speaker hooked up to it!! I think there's only one thing it can be. The mini plug jack on the back of the radio is probably not re closing when the external speaker is disconnected, resulting in no audio going to the internal one. I checked the internal speak and it's fine. No external speaker included but I will include a mini plug (now plugged in) so all you have to do it hook up your own speaker and you're back in business! The radio is in NICE condition with only minor wear, and the mic is new. Original manual and power cord are included. Thanks to ebay/PayPal's current draconian policies regarding returns, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working. Also, thanks to the same policies, we will no longer ship directly to any country other than the US. Any overseas buyers must buy thru the ebay shipping program. Everything is sold AS-IS; NO WARRANTIES offered on anything. The purchaser, upon receipt, might not agree as to our assessment of condition, but that's what it was HERE and it's being sold officially for parts or not working.
