Tektronix TDS340A 100MHz 500MS/s 2-Channel Digital Storage Oscilloscope Opt. 14

Description: The following is a Tektronix TDS340A 100MHz 500MS/s digital storage oscilloscope (DSO). It has a record length of 1000 samples. This unit comes with option 14 installed, which includes a VGA output for an external monitor, GPIB, RS-232, and a parallel port for a printer. It also has a floppy disk drive. Included are two generic P6100-type 1x/10x switchable probes with the accessories bag and tuning tool. The unit passes all self-checks on startup. I have tested it and all functions appear to be working to the best of my knowledge. The CRT is bright and appears to be in good condition. The rear ports for the option cards have not been tested, but I did test the floppy drive, which can be configured to write .bmp screenshots to the floppy when the "hardcopy" button is pressed and transferred to a PC (see fifth image). It can also be used to store measurement states which can be recalled later. The unit is not calibrated. Cosmetically, the unit has some slight damage/cracking to the plastic feet around the back, but the front side is very clean. It has a few minor smudges and signs of wear, but overall I would say the unit is in very good condition for its age. The listing includes the scope, two probes, the probe accessories bag shown, a power cord, and a blank floppy disk with a PDF of the user manual (The user manual is also easily available for free online).
