The score reconstruction by Nic Raine was incredible, and the performance of the City of Prague Orchestra and Chorus under his baton, flawless. The mixing and digital mastering was superb, producing an exceptional audio quality, and very rewarding listening experience. Waxman created five primary themes, all kindred in their construct. His rich, ethnic and masculine Zaparozhtzian Cossack themes fully captured the pride, boldness and indomitability of their cultural identity.
