discovered this when I ordered a few items from a "U.S. Seller" and the "item location" was listed as "Los Angeles, CA" and the other in "Kentucky" *When I checked the tracking info for each shipment, it showed that the item was initially shipped by an overseas shipping company that I've never heard of*The tracking info showed that the shipment arrived from overseas then it was eventually accepted and shipped through USPS, FedEx, or UPS *This is why it takes a week or longer for them to ship something USPS First Class from "Los Angeles, CA" to Las Vegas, NV or anywhere in the U.S. *It should take no longer than 1 to 2 business days to ship an item via USPS First Class package between two neighboring states, CA to NV *I have notified eBay several times regarding these dishonest sellers but they do not seem to care that these sellers are misleading buyers*Ebay only cares about the selling fees that we are charged every time we sell an item, that is how they make their money, from the selling fees we pay PRODUCT INFORMATION *These are BRAND NEW Motorcycle key blanks that are precision milled to OEM Specifications *These key blanks MAKE A GREAT SPARE or EVERYDAY KEY*They do not have a chip inside of them and they are designed to work with the model year bikes listed on the chart *Most if not all of the newer bikes and cars have chips in their keys that require programming, but older models do not *PLEASE CHECK the "Compatible Vehicle" chart and confirm that your model is listed BEFORE COMPLETING THE ORDER *Please make sure the grooves on your key match the picture in my mistakes on your order and I will do whatever it takes to make it right PROBLEMS THAT MAY HAPPEN WITH DUPLICATE KEYS *If you have the key cut and it doesn't work in your ignition, gas cap, or seat lock it may be due to several reasons*The most common issue is that the person cutting the key did not make sure that the key was perfectly aligned *When it comes to cutting duplicate keys, precision is everything and the tiniest error will affect it's ability to work properly *If the key is cut too deep or too far back then the pins inside the lock will not align properly with the valleys in the key *When this happens, the duplicate key will not allow the cylinder inside to turn and unlock the lock *If the duplicate key works in the ignition but not the gas cap, it may be a problem with the gas cap lock mechanism *Try pushing down on the gas cap while turning the key which will relieve pressure over the locking mechanism *Another issue that may occur is that the lock cylinders for the ignition, gas cap, or seat lock have not been properly maintained *The lock cylinders need to be regularly lubricated or eventually the parts inside won't turn smoothly anymore or they may even get stuck and not turn at all *The problem may also be a bad lock cylinder that may need to be replaced because it is defective and it doesn't last forever especially when not maintained *Please don't blame the key, the problem most likely it that the duplicate key was not cut properly *If the duplicate was cut properly, then it could be a bad lock cylinder, lock mechanism issue, lack of maintenance issue, or other reasons *These key blanks are a very durable metal alloy, but they are not indestructible and they may break or get scuffed up due to abuse or carelessness *The ABS plastic portion at the top of the key can also get scuffed up by other things inside your pocket so please keep that in mind as well
