Simple yet Powerful ControlsWe spent a great deal of time designing the human interface to ensure that the controls do not get in the way of your imagination. First, we selected the essential reverb controls, and then pursued the range and functionality of each control to make it easy to get the sound you envisioned without complicated and tedious operations. Analog Dry Signal PathIn a typical digital reverb, the dry signal is converted to digital once, which introduces noise and latency during the conversion. To make matters worse, attenuation (lowering the signal level) may be performed before mixing the digital dry and wet signals. Then, in order to increase the signal level, the conversion noise is amplified together. To avoid this dreaded and detrimental effect on sound quality, BigSky's dry signal uses a completely analog path. Expression PedalAn external expression pedal (sold separately) can be connected to the BigSky, allowing any control to be operated with the pedal. The control to be operated can be saved for each preset. An external momentary switch (sold separately) can also be connected to tap the pre-delay time (or decay time for Magneto and Nonlinear). Assignable control knobsWant to fine-tune a specific parameter? BigSky allows you to assign parameters to the Param control on the front panel for each preset. Having the most frequently used parameters on the front panel allows for even more intuitive sound control. Infinite Sustain/FreezeWhen the footswitch of the preset in use is pressed and held, either Infinite Sustain or Freeze effect sound can be held. Infinite Sustain: Newly played notes are added to the ongoing reverb sound. Freeze: Newly played notes will not be added to the ongoing reverb sound. Each setting can be specified for each preset. MIDI Support If you have a complex MIDI system, BigSky supports all MIDI functions, allowing you to control any parameter, switching, preset changes, and other MIDI operations.
