Stillmate 3" Large/Long Thumper/Gin Basket Kit for Modular Still Product Information This is a newly designed large/long Thumper made of 3" longer sight glass and all fittings to connect to modular stills. The function of a thumper is to add flavors into your spirits with liquid or solid botanical/fruit during distillation. The thumper will hold the liquid. This kit made of 2 x 2" 90C elbow pipe and connects a pipe extend to the bottom of the sight glass so that the vapor can be exhausted from the top lid exhaust pipe. The long sight glass allow you hold more liquid or put more fruit into the thumper, compared with the standard one. There's bottom valve under the thumper to drain spent liquid. You can run this thumper as gin basket as well by adding botanical into the sight glass.
