Stenocereus alamosensis TWO (2) 12"-15" Mid Cuttings "Octopus Cactus" EZ 2 Root!

Description: Stenocereus alamosensis is a cacti that you rarely see for sale. You will receive TWO mid-cuttings that are 12"-15" long. They will look similar to the cuttings shown. Some of them are much more red colored, because they were in full sun. Please note that these are MID CUTS! Also, most of these have quite a bit of scarring from rubbing against the other canes while they were growing, and just for fun, some have a bit of sunburn also. They will still grow, and produce super nice offsets and flowers for you! NOTE: I'll mark the BOTTOM of these with white marker, on the stem or on the spines. Put the white mark IN the dirt! I'm dropping the price on these and blowing them out! It does have tubular red flowers when it blooms. These flowers are pollinated by hummingbirds, and it blooms several times a year. This plant is also known as the "Octopus Cactus" because it tends to sprawl out, instead of growing upright. To root these, plant in cactus mix, and do not water for 6 to 8 weeks. They'll root up quite quickly, as long as it is 50F or higher at night. Keep them in a semi-shaded location, not full sun. Under a tree is usually about perfect. These are cold hardy down to about 20F, and make great landscaping plants. These are very very easy to root. Just put it in a fast draining cactus mix and don't water for 6 to 8 weeks. Keep it in a semi-sunny location until it fully roots. The last picture is what the flower looks like. All plants are sent bare root, unless noted. We do combine shipping!
