STEIFF Froggy Hand Puppet ~ ALL IDs 1963-67 German Mohair Vintage Frog Toy

Description: Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty, and lasting quality. The company produced amazing stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets, like this friendly Frog. Froggy was made in Germany between 1963-67 and is is special not only because its appearance but also because it's complete with all IDs and in very good condition. Its oversized eyes and big red mouth are very eye-catching. The head is hollow and made from soft plastic/rubber. The lack of a finger tube is a design particularity of this puppet. The mouth moves by placing a finger inside the lower lip (see instruction tag). The body uses a multi colored velvet and the tip of the hands are stuffed with excelsior (wood wool). This playful little Frog seems unused and is in very good condition. But please note a small age stain on the bottom front of the body and a dark spot on the top part of the felt mouth.
