Description: Polar Lights Star Trek: Klingon D7 Battlecruiser 2-in-1 Snap Together Model Kit (#4202) For sale is a snap-together model kit from Polar Lights, featuring the Klingon D7 Battlecruiser, out of "Star Trek: The Original Series." This model kit has been assembled, though the neck and head were removed (without damage) to allow the kit to still fit within the original box. The parts can be swapped out for a slightly different look, as the D7 was slightly adjusted when reused as a Romulan battlecruiser (explained away as part of a "Technology Sharing Treaty," to justify using the same Klingon starship model when featuring the Federation's other adversaries, the Romulans). No glue has been applied and no pieces have been broken, so the parts are a bit loose - when you are ready to finalize the model, you can apply glue for yourself for a more sturdy, final build. Included is the original stand as well as the original decals and stickers, which have not been applied, so you can further customize your Klingon (or Romulan!) battlecruiser, including your own ship's name using the enclosed Klingon alphabet. The instruction guide also includes a decal/sticker application guide, so you can be assured that your battlecruiser's markings will fit within the standards of the Klingon (or Romulan) navy. The clamshell box itself is intact, though it is somewhat dinged up, with a small 2-inch tear along the upper right edge. Please see the pictures for details.
