Widely considered to by Mishima’s masterpiece, these are two novels in the magical realism / historical fiction novel set in Japan between 1912 and 1975. Hard to find vintage editions of this masterwork. Moderate wear to covers, mostly around the edges which have some creasing, chipping and small tears. Bindings are strong and spines are fairly straight. Previous owner’s inscription on first page of Spring Snow and last few dozen pages of Decay of the Angel bumped/creased along fore edge.
