Description: Two Spilsbury Tindall SBX-11 Portable SSB Transceivers. These units were made in Vancouver, BC, these are likely from the late 1970s. They were used by BC Forest Services and if you look close you can still see part of the BC Forests sticker on one of them. Despite a little dust and the words "NEW BATTS" etched into both of them, they are in pretty good cosmetic condition. There are scratches and scuffs on all sides. I am selling AS IS for parts or restoration. Each unit takes 9 D cell batteries (not included). The units make sound but do not talk to each other. It's possible that I just don't know how to use this properly. They were procured from an estate in Clearwater, BC. Will consider selling separately but it would be cool to keep them together.
