This is an ORIGINAL 1986 RUSSIAN COLLECTION OF ARTWORK PRINTS THAT GIVE THE HISTORY OF THE SOVIET SPACE PROGRAM. This is a PORTFOLIO of ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT (108) PRINTS that are worthy of frames. This set was PRODUCED IN MOSCOW, USSR. They are original and exceptional! I do not read Russian so I cannot give direct translation of the words printed here. From the photos and illustrations you can see that this is rich in coverage of SPUTNIK... LAIKA THE SPACE DOG... YURI GAGARIN... VALENTINA TERESHKOVA... SOYUZ... and much much more. The prints are small poster-sized. They measure 17 1/4 inches X 11 1/4 inches. Note that they are printed on THIN STOCK PAPER. They are unused; hardly ever out of the slip cover. Some are in mint condition and some have edge wear. The slip cover has more significant wear. It did its job of protecting the prints. This was a SOUVENIR BOUGHT IN MOSCOW just a few years before the beginning of the end of the Soviet Union. It is a rare find in very fine condition. This is a wonderful time capsule!
