The transfer board is placed horizontally in the middle and the patient can move back and forth on the board to transfer positions from place to place. If the patient himself, it must be two hands are sound and strong, and a good sense of balance of the user, otherwise it must be in the chaperone to assist the use.(The non-slip design with rounded edges of the bumps will not scratch the seat, if you are worried about scratching the car seat or bed sheet when you use it, you can lay down a layer of mat when you use it.) This is for a never used unit.
