Description: This is a fully polished piece of Burmite (Burmese) amber that contains a curled millipede from the Family Siphonophoridae. This millipede resembles a small worm in appearance and would have been on the Earth at the time of the dinosaurs including T-Rex and Triceratops!The piece itself weighs 0.4 grams with approximate dimensions of 1 cm length by 0.8 cm width and 0.4 cm height. NOTE: 2.54 cm is 1 inch. Please see my feedback. Burmese (Burmite) amber is difficult to acquire and has been dated to be Cretaceous in age (around 100 million years old) and would have been sticky resin during the time of the dinosaurs and is being mined in the Hukawng Valley in Myanmar (Burma).
