Description: This is a Type II ( date range 1934-1935) carrying Case for a Singer Featherweight sewing machine. Very Rare. The case has been stripped of the outer fabric covering, it was raggedy. But this gives you a good view of the condition of the case. The brown spotting you see is residue from the factory glue. You will also notice threads along the top case edge, I stopped there, because I did not want to disrupt the lining edge. The case measures approximately 11 1/4" H x 13" L x 8" W . The latches do work. The original green lining is intact. The original leather handle loops are on it. The case is very solid, no water damage. Please review the pictures closely, case sold as is.Once sanded and cleaned up, this case is a very good candidate for a refurbish or re covering.
