Silver Bullion THE KNESSET 8th in the "Views of Jerusalem" Series

Description: Silver Bullion THE KNESSET 8th in the "Views of Jerusalem" Series     23163380 Silver Bullion THE KNESSET 8th in the Views of Jerusalem Series The Knesset, the legislative authority and House of Representatives of the State of Israel, is located in the area of the government offices in the Givat Ram neighborhood of Jerusalem. In February 1955, the Government of Israel decided to construct a special building for the Knesset, and in 1956, the Knesset presidency announced a contest for the planning of the building. The contest was won by the architect Joseph Klarwein, who proposed an impressively grand architectural construction. Work on the building went on for five years and came to its conclusion with a splendid ceremony in honor of the new Knesset building in Jerusalem. The building is constructed in Jerusalem stone, which is both symbolic of the history of the Jewish people and a connection with Jerusalem. The exposed stone walls on their part are also characteristic of modern buildings and of Mediterranean style. Being secluded from the other buildings in the area and with its differing height, the Knesset building has an aura of importance that enhances the legislative authority and House of Representatives of the State of Israel. Design: Face – Meir Eshel, Common Reverse of the Series – Yaacov Enyedi Minting: The Holy Land Mint Description Face: A view of the facade of the Knesset building with flags of Israel waving in the wind, and inscription The Knesset in Hebrew and English. Common Reverse: Lion of Jerusalem and prominent buildings of Jerusalem within the outline of a coat of arms, the Holy Land Mint trademark. Inscriptions: 1oz. Fine Gold .9999 on the gold, 1oz. Fine Silver .999 on the silver, in English, Jerusalem of Gold in English and Hebrew and the mint year on the gold.   We Ship By DHL Express / FedEx Only  - Fast, Secured, and Insured !  Israel Coins and Medals Relive the Past, Preserve the Present, Ensure the Future Israel Coins and Medals Corp. (ICMC) was established in 1958 by Israel's first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. Its purpose was then, and still is, to commemorate the national and historic events of the State of Israel and its outstanding personalities, and the milestones in our culture, art and people. ICMC was designated an ambassador for the distribution of the legal tender commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Israel and the Israel State Medals, as well as for the promotion of Israeli artistry and Judaica. ICMC was fully owned by the Israel Government until 2008, when it was privatized and bought by the G.R.A.S. Group. In the privatization agreement, ICMC pledged to the Government that it would maintain the company's traditional character and scope of activity. Today, ICMC operates in a wide range of activities, with special emphasis on production and global promotion of gold and silver for investment under The Holy Land Mint trademark. The Holy Land Mint – The international trademark for investment in precious metals In 2014, ICMC launched The Holy Land Mint international trademark with production of the first Israeli investment product - the fine silver .999 "Dove of Peace" Bullion. Since 2019, this beautiful bullion collection has also been produced in fine gold .9999, in both rounds and bars in a variety of weights, ranging from 1 gram to 1 kilogram. Today, The Holy Land Mint trademark stands out proudly on a variety of investible products that are sold in Israel and all over the world, together with other products of the world's leading mints - a true Israeli pride! The mint, which moved to its new premises in 2022, now serves as the company mint, producing most of ICMC's products on a regular basis, locally in Israel.
