Nesteruk is well-known for his intricate work with many layers and veils of color with suspended shapes and bubbles and this example is simply magnificent. Mesmerizing to look at, the photos do NOT do it justice! Exterior oval shape in which two sides have been flattened and polished. There is an opening at the top with a cavity within the sculpture which could be used as a bud base. Colors show pink, purple, and blue. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Minor shelf-wear on bottom. Signed Nesteruk PA Art 98. 3.75 inches tall x 4 inches at widest.
