Description: Shimano Biopace-SG Narrow 48t 110bcd 5 bolt Steel Chainring. I just bought this to replace a chainring on a Schwinn Crosscut that I had ordered used online, only to find that my Crosscut was made in 1992 and has 50 teeth. A Crosscut that I had years ago was a 1991 and had 48 teeth. I didn't know different years had different chainrings and didn't realize they were not a match until the bike showed up, after I had already bought this chainring. This chainring still has its factory finish on the cogs, aside from a few scratches. I just can't use it. Like some tires I have for sale, I'm just trying to sell them to get part of my money back to buy the right one. By the way, the Biopace shape is not a defect (ie. warped and/or worn). Please look up Sheldon Brown's piece about Biopace if you are not familiar with this type of chainring before buying.
