Description: Antique Stoneware Jug 1928 Sharpe Bros Ginger Beer New Zealand Gallon Pearsons 16 inches tall with handle x 14 inches tall with stopper x 6 5/8 inch diameter at base Hairline crack on back of jug visible in photos and Sharpe Bros name was removed as seen in photos. 1928 one-gallon stoneware jar made by Pearsons & Co of Chesterfield with wire handle and original composite stopper. Jug was used to brew ginger beer by Sharpe Brothers hygienic brewers of Dunedin, New Zealand. Two tone glazes with four-point shield. Stoneware jug weighs 7 lb 15.1 oz before packaging or box.
