Description: Up for sale is this great antique Seth Thomas (USA) mantle/shelf clock. The beehive clock with cathedral pointed top is Seth Thomas clock # 89L. Has brass bound curved glass front with a metal dial . No key. Has a pendulum but the pendulum arm is too long and the pendulum rubs against the bottom (therefore I cannot test it!). Measures about 10 1/4 inches tall X 8 1/4 inches long and 5 inches deep. Marked on the dial and brass works. From the late 19th to early 20th centuries or so. Cosmetically, it is in very nice condition. Both bell and clock wind smoothly. The runs well but for the above stated reason, I could not test the clock. I am not an expert on clocks so I am selling this piece, as is with all the clocks I sell on eBay, as found. Please see our other clocks on eBay at this time! We do not determine shipping costs!
