These buttons are the cutest transparent buttons with a wreath design pressed on the top of the button. They have been under painted in a purple color. The buttons will make any project you use them on look Gorgeous. There is nothing like the look and feel of Glass to add Elegance. You will absolutely love these!!! These small buttons measure 7/16 inch across and are self shank. They have never been used or been in circulation before. They come from a card of buttons that were manufactured For the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. I purchased them from a family member of the original business owners Europe that had them in storage since WWII. I have removed them from the original card of 24 and sewn them to a trade card reproduced from the same period. These are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored for more than 70 years so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. They really are fantastic. The painted glass are not waterproof.
