Description: Serviced Meyer Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 100/2.8 M42 Near Mint Bubbly Bokeh Lens Trivia: An universal painterly/creative German manual focus lens in easily adaptable 42mm screw mount originally produced for 35mm film cameras such as Praktica (Pentacon, Contax, Praktiflex). 15 blades iris - bokeh (almost always perfectly rounded). Soap bubbly bokeh + (sort of) soft focus character. Item condition: an item used previously - works. The lens has been completely overhauled by my technician - the lens runs buttery smooth now and both aperture blades and glasses are very clean. Some very minor signs of age or previous use but nothing substantial. For detailed glass condition kindly examine my lamp collage of photos under the item gallery (Fig. 2&3). The lens chassis shows only absolutely minimal of typical age related aluminium surface degradation (eloxation) at usual hood rim where the rubber front cap was put on for years. Glasses are generally fine, clean, free from visible issues, I would say in excellent shape considering the lens age. Please manage your expectations adequate to buying a 60+ yo camera lens :)Overall, the lens looks great considering this is ≈1960 lens and should make very happy even collectors with elevated expectations and requirements. As the item is generally easy to dismantle, the buyer can deeply examine the CLA work of my technician after the arrival.
