Description: Schumann Bavaria Empress Dresden Flowers Fruit/Dessert Bowl (s) 5-1/4” Schumann of Germany produced this pattern between 1945 and 1981. Some of the backstamps on these fruit/dessert bowls include “US Zone,” which means they were produced between 1945 and 1949, and others may include a blue shield-shaped mark with Golden Crown E&R. E&R refers to Ebeling & Reuss, importers of European porcelain. These pieces were produced between 1950 and 1960. The bowls in this listing have different flower clusters in the center, so I have given you choices. Select each condition level to see the quantity available for each design. Colors are all nice and bright. No chips, cracks, or crazing. 5-1/4” diameter Design 1/Condition: Largest flowers are purple tulip and one with yellow petals around an orange center. Very good used condition with a minor scratch or two and a small speck or bit of color out of place. Design 2/Condition: Largest flowers are orange, yellow and pink.
