The scabbard is equipped with a brass snap tab at the top opening, two 3/4" thick leather compression straps at the bottom and top of the scabbard, and two metal hooks for use with a carrying strap. The scabbard is embossed on the top rear with “THE SCHOELLKOPF CO. / (elephant logo) / DALLAS TEXAS USA / FAMOUS JUMBO BRAND” along with “1524526” serial number. The leather remains supple with scattered light handling marks, mild edge wear, minor creases, a few areas of minute stains, and oxidation on the metal surfaces. A very presentable rifle scabbard for the fashionable outdoorsman.
