Description: A very interesting and harder to find Elgin grade 349 that is equivalent to a veritas model and is out of a run of Veritas movements . Movement is marked 349 that is different from other grades of the 349. A very high-grade movement that is adjusted to five positions with gilt gold lettering, gold Jewel settings, train and timing screws. Movement is highly damaskeened and very nicely finished and is a beautiful bright movement. Movement runs good and seems to keep time but I have not checked it over a long period. Watch is lever set and winds and sets correctly Serial number 14090202, circa 1910. The dial is the original double sunk Elgin railroad dial but does have hairlines ,but is a nice looking dial with nice hands. A very nice Gold Filled warranted 25 year case and I do not see any brass on the case and is in good working order. Please see pictures for more information and condition. Sold as is.
