Scarce 1920s to 1940s Two Tier Fold up Wooden Dumwaiter Shelves

Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Vintage furniture. Scarce very versatile early 20th Century Wooden 2 tier fold up Dumbwaiter. Dates to the 1920s to 1940s. Two tier shapely slight curves to the shelves. Curved "V" legs and curved handle. The 2 shelves fold up for conveniant storage. Great to display desserts, plants, small collectibles, or etc... Colonial style. Almost antique. 80-100 years old. Fair condition for age. The finish is worn and there are some wear rings on table. It was made of an inexpensive wood so new owner might want to paint or refinish if they choose. The piece is structurally sound but has just a little sway due to this type of design. The 2 shelves drop into place. There used to be 2 small bendable pieces of metal(one on each shelf) that helped lock shelves down that are now lacking (last 2 pics). The shelves sit fine just as they are. The shapely style and versatility make this type of Dumbwaiter very collectible today. This same exact style in a nicer wood recently sold for $325.00. The dumbwaiter measures about 32" tall when shelves are down, it is about 22" long, and about 12" wide at handle. When folded up it is about 33" tall. Nice almost antique 2 tier Dumbwaiter.
