Description: Savage 110 Steel Safety The original Savage 110 factory safety is a steel casting and prone to breakage at the center screw.This replacement safety is machined from solid steel bar stock to fix the breakage problem.It also has an update with fine thread center screw to allow more material around the threaded area.This is a brand new replacement safety for the Savage 110 series of rifles and comes with updated center screw and front screw.You only need to transfer the front spring from the old safety. The original Savage 110 prior to the AccuTrigger system has this saftey which was hand fitted at the factory, so each rifle is a little different in fitting. Over the decades we have seen a wide variance, especially in the height of the thumb pad area. The safety is machined to the larger side of the spec so that it will fit all rifles. In many it is drop in fit and others need fitting. Should be installed by a gunsmith knowledgable with the Savage safety adjustments as it blocks both the trigger and locks the bolt.Also fits Savage 111 Series J, 110C, 110DE, 110H, 112, 110B Series J, 110B Series K, 110C Series J, 110C Series K, 110D Series J, 110D Series K, 110E Series J, & 110E Series S KMade in the USA .
