Description: On Sunday, September 27, 1998 from 11 AM to 4 PM in Peacock Meadow in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, San Francisco's First Annual Bike Your Park Safety Fair was held. The event was billed as "a day to promote safety and theft prevention, with information and fun activities for riders of all ages," and featured free raffle prizes, free safety checks and maintenence demos, free bicycle rodeo, and free traffic safety/theft prevention information. In addition to Mayor Willie Brown Jr., the Board of Supervisors and SF Bicycle Advisory Committee, the event was sponsored by SAFE (safety awareness for everyone), SFNSP (San Francisco Neighborhood Safety Partnership), San Francisco Department of Parking and Traffic, San Francisco's Bicycle Coalition, California Bicycle Network, SF Police Department, SF Municipal Railway, Safe Move and Rides for Bay Area Communities, Inc. 11" x 17" This poster is in good condition, there are no holes, tears, dirt or hard creases. There is one horizontal "soft" crease, just above the information about Free Raffle Prizes. This crease is not very easy to see, and if this poster were in a frame would require careful examination to see. There are also a couple of other light dings caused by handling. The poster is printed on glossy white stock, fairly heavy, and features many colors. There are no artistic credits listed. Postage quoted includes a poster tube, by USPS first class mail, with delivery confirmation. If the buyer wants to make other arrangements about the shipping materials or rates, please send an email.
