Description: Up for sale is a Roy Stover Story, The Lakeport Bank Mystery, copyright 1929. The author is Philip A. Bartlett. Publisher is Grosset & Dunlap. This is #1 in the series. Book comes with its original dust jacket, which is in very good condition and displays very well in its mylar cover. There is very minor chipping well concealed. The change in color on the back corner is from that part being folded under. Too bad the rest of the jacket isn't so bright. The reverse of the jacket is loaded with lists for other children's series books from the era. Book is in excellent condition. Cover is a rich orange. Pages are crisp and tight and are likely unread. There are 4 glossy internals spread throughout the book which really add to the story. There is no writing in the book. If you have any questions, please ask.I'll be listing hundreds of series books from this era over the next couple of months, including the big series of The Radio Boys, The Hardy Boys, and Nancy Drew, so please check them out. Thanks for looking and I hope you find something neat to add to your collection.
