Thank you.Description: Licensed Kewpie Doll circa 1992, Girl Version with Dress, height is about 11.5 inches. Includes COA dated Jan 01, 1992, shown behind the doll and in separate photo also. These Jesco Kewpie dolls had limited production runs and were made from Cameo's molds. The first of these Cameo Kewpies was made over 100 years ago and Jesco got the rights to make them and produced their first Kewpie in 1983.Condition: This doll has not been removed from its box or played with, Mint Condition. The Box shows shelf and storage wear but retains good structure and color. The box top has 1 corner split.I have 2 of this same size but different outfit Kewpie dolls, in different style boxes for sale. If you buy both at the same checkout time, I will refund shipping on one. Kewpie was a comic strip character created by Rose O'Neill in 1909 for the Woman's Home Companion. She contracted the artist Cameo to make the first Kewpie doll and he made them with great care until he retired and passed the torch to Jesco.
