Description: Rare Romanian Officer and Reservist Royal Order medal. In 1884, the Society of Independent Veterans was founded. It later became (1923-1925) the Society of Reserve and retiring Officers. This medal, No. 28, was awarded to Locot. Retr. C. Sallman (1887-1937), who was probably a Sas officer in the Romanian army in WWI. No. 28 in at the beginning of the series. Cuza a incercat sa reglementeze rostul ofiterilor care treceau in disponsibilitate in 1864. In 1884 s'a infiintat Sociatatea Veteranilor Independenti. In 1923-25 a luat fiinta Societatea Ofiterilor in Reserva si in Retragere Proveniti din Activitate. Medalia acesta, NR. 28, a fost dat lui Locot. Retr. C. Sallman (1887-1937), care a fost probabil ofiter sas in armata romana in WW1. Nr. 28 este la inceputul drearii insigniei.
