About Our Illustrations and Prints Each and every one of our digital illustrations is meticulously created to provide a beautiful and detailed representation of the subject. Our prints are created with a professional quality Canon inkjet photo printer using genuine Canon PIXMA inks. The printer utilizes six different ink colours (rather than just four colours used in standard printers) to produce true and vibrant-coloured prints. Let's talk about paper! We use heavy weight, 230 gsm, archival matt inkjet photo paper. The higher the grams per square metre (gsm) value, the heavier and higher quality of the paper. For comparison purposes, standard printer paper is usually 70-80 gsm. The printing surface of "archival" papers are free from acid and other impurities which would otherwise cause fading over time when exposed to light. All of this means you will receive a beautifully detailed print with vibrant colours which will last for many years to come.
