Description: Rogers Holiday 4 piece drum set complete with Vintage snare, stands & cases ++ Description This amazing set came to us from the estate of a popular local drummer who had this set for many years . This is a vintage Rogers Holiday set from what we think is 1964 with 4 shells plus the chrome snare. It looks like a gray Mother of Pearl finish but the closest thing we found when looking at vintage stuff is a color called Blue Strata Pearl. Maybe that is the color. You will need to judge for yourself. The set is in very good condition and it comes with drum cases. The cases are not in great condition and are pretty beat up but they are still functional and they have protected the set for many years, which is their job. They still function just fine and your drums will be sent in them This is a Holiday Model Made in the USA, in Dayton OH and it carries the Serial Number 89912. Snare stand - No brand, made in JAPAN Floor Tom - Very good condition, one leg has a ripped/messed up rubber foot covered in electrical tape Mounted Toms - Very good condition. One tom is a slightly different color than the rest of the set. Possibly this was added on. Snare - Very good condition, steel snare Rogers brand 2 x Cymbal stands - Premier flush base, made in England Hi Hat stand - Tama Throne - Ludwig Chicago USA, duct tap around each leg Heads – in excellent condition, Obviously are probably replacement heads on some of them and not all Rogers heads from the 60’s Kick Drum - Good condition, Flaws along rim, worn down on edges in some spots--primarily where rim was resting on the ground Cases - Old and dirty. Kick drum case is rusty and gross but still is a case. One has a stamp of 'Custom Built Fibre Cases by Humes and Berg INC' 'A Product of The House of Quality Chicago'. Includes leather Korean-made drumstick/accessory case with several sets of sticks, beaters, drum keys and a hex key set. Drum sizes : KICK DRUM 20X14" MOUNTED TOM 12X8" MOUNTED TOM 13X9" FLOOR TOM 16X16" SNARE DRUM 14X5" As you can see , the set is a wonderful set that would be a show stopper in any collection, or a great set to gig with or use in the studio. This set is very large and we cannot trust it to ship in cradboard boxes , so we are shipping it via truck only on a pallet, or preferably, we would like the buyer to pick it up. Of course if you pick it up there will be no shipping charges. We have priced this at what we feel is a very reasonable price , but we are mainly in the guitar business, so we would be happy to take guitars in towards this purchase if you have any you don’t need.
