If your saw has a round post or has the one piece plastic rear blade guide, there are some parts in this kit that won’t work for your application. Go to our eBay store to see the ROUND BAR kit we now have available as well. That kit comes with the extended length wood blade guard, not the plastic guard. The wood guard will fit just fine to replace your one piece plastic guard, but you must make or find OEM sheet metal brackets to attach the wood rear guard. We do not offer these brackets. See another of our eBay listings for the ROUND BAR riser bar kit. This listing is for the HEX BAR kit. The kit includes the follow components:1. A heavy 4” x 2½” rectangular steel tube and (2) ½” thick plates make up the riser block weldment. It was then precision machined on CNC equipment for parallelism and to add the necessary dowel holes and pins for perfect alignment.2. Two (2) ¼” x ¾” black oxide plated dowel pins3. A ¾-10 x 8” bolt, lock washer, and nut for securing the top and bottom saw castings through the riser block. The square headed bolt has been modified by adding a secondary key the bolt head to prevent rotation during tightening.4. A 7/8” hex x 16” long 6061 aluminum guide post5. A clear poplar wood custom fabricated blade guard for enclosing the return portion for the saw blade.6. An extended length sheet metal finger guard for protecting the operator from the exposed blade when not using the high limits of available cutting blade length.7. A regular length short finger guard, comparable to the 7” OEM blade guard. This guard protects the operator from the top portion of the exposed blade when cutting tall stock. The riser block has been sandblasted and primed with a zinc rich catalyzed PPG paint.Black oxide plated dowel pins are provided for insertion into the riser where needed. An extra passage hole has been added to top and bottom plates of the riser block to allow for a power cord to complete internal wiring of a retirement light on the saw. To use this route, you must drill a cord passage hole in the lower band saw casting in the pad where the riser block sets.The bolt, lock washer, nut, and both sheet metal finger guards have been bright zinc plated.
