Description: Listing for one (of two) Vintage restored steel Yale rim lock mortise in excellent condition. The case has been stripped down to bare metal and repainted and all interior parts have been clean and checked. I call it vintage, might be antique. Not like any I've come across before. There are no model numbers that I noticed stamped inside it and I've not come across similar online to try and date it. Base on the condition when received, it has been around for awhile. My guess might be 30's to 50's but I'm open to correction. If you are familiar with these do let me know. Comes with keeper. Sold Separately with two available at posting. Both are in more or less the same equally good condition. I believe the cylinders are replaceable. I don't know if they are rekeyable. Again, all interior parts have been cleaned and polished. All interior parts and springs are in good operating condition. All my mortise locks are reconditioned and fully functioning. Keys are not included unless specifically noted in the listing as well as the pictures. The best description are the pictures posted. Use them to verify condition and dimensions.
