Ben Perley Poore; Sevnth Regiment Col. Lyman Dike; Eighth Regiment Col. Fred J. Coffin; His Excellency Hon. Nathan P. Banks and Staff, accompanied by Adj Gen E. W. Stone, escorted by the Waltham Dragoons Capt William Gibbs, and the Divisionary Corps of Cadets, Capt S. B. Foster. Points of interest listed include: Salem Inner Harbor, Naugus Head and Marblehead Shore, Fort Pickering, Lowell Island, Baker's Island Light House, and the Entrance to Beverly Harbor.
