Bogdanienė), he taught at the M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts until 2005. Since 1991, he has participated in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad and organized 15 individual exhibitions (in Vilnius 1991–95, some with his father and J. Jonutyte‑Morkuviene, 2006, in Druskininkai 2007, with his father). Used for tapestries interiors: Sunny Forest in Ūkio banka in Kaunas (with his father, 1989; the largest – 96 m2 – tapestry in Lithuania), Coat of arms tapestry for the meeting hall of the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Lithuania (with his father, J. Jonutyte‑Morkuviene, D. Jonutiene, 1998). The combination of classical and modern means of expression is characteristic of tapestries of chamber forms (Tēviškė, Mīslė, Sąveika, all 1992, Burės, Pilnatis, both 1993, Dykuma, Sparnai, Tēkmė, Viltis, all 1994, Striped dragon 1995); their compositions are decorative, abstract geometric shapes, divided by geometric, linear motifs according to the laws of optical art, the solid structure of the composition, the rhythmic dispersion of forms is accentuated by multicolor, usually white, black, red or a range of cold colors. Created the installation Einu (1991). Since 1999, he devoted himself to painting (Big Bang, Window to the Future, 2006, Flight 2007, Peace 2008, Energy 2009); the works are characterized by philosophically generalized themes and rich color harmony.
