Description: For sale is a rare heavy pink depression glass ashtray with built-in matchbox holder. This would be a fantastic piece to add to an ashtray collection, a mid-century glassware collection, or a pink depression glass collection.I have only seen one other ashtray identical this, and it was a green uranium glass one. This is in very good condition. There are some tiny flea bites on the base rim that are consistent with placing this on a hard surface over time. I do not see any other nicks or scratches in the glass. There is also a couple of tiny air bubbles in the glass that are normal to glassware from this era. I see some black residue in the crevice on the underside. I will leave that to the buyer to clean up.
