Description: Here are a couple of seldom seen pieces of Valvoline motor oil advertising. One being a painted metal sign - most likely off of a rack display, and the other being a cloth / canvas flag banner. These are being sold as a lot - you will receive BOTH the sign and the flag! Personally, I have never seen either of these examples before, so I'd imagine they are pretty hard to find. Don't hesitate! They probably won't last long!! Based on the logo and colors used on these pieces, I believe they date back to at least the 1940's - most likely a bit earlier. The sign is in nice condition, with vibrant colors! It does show some signs of wear, but pretty nice overall. I have not cleaned it at all since finding it.The flag is in really nice condition! Nice colors and condition, with very little wear. The sign measures approx. 18 3/4" x 6 1/2". The flag measures 8 3/4" long and 5" at the widest part. Please look at photos to get a better idea of condition.
