They are giant, magnificent, and if the look of their queens isn't enough, their behavior will make up for it. These ants have supermajors, being one of the few species to truly have them! In addition, they are seed harvesters and their colonies grow to huge sizes (tens of thousands of workers). Pheidole rhea is only common in a fraction of the United States, and is an absolute prehistoric monster of an ant.
