For watches that use batteries, I only use proper silver oxide 1.55 volt watch batteries, NOT cheap 1.5 volt mercury batteries. This doesn't apply to some digital watches that specifically use 1.5 volt coin cell batteries, such as a majority of Casio G-Shocks. Batteries are fresh as of the time of listing the watches unless otherwise noted, based on how long the watch has been listed the time before having to replace the battery once you obtain it varies. For watches that have water-resistance ratings, I would recommend against diving with them until you have a professional reseal the watch and replace the gasket.
