For your consideration is a wonderful stereoview identified in ink on the verso as simply "Polpis". This is a great image of a group of people gathered in front of a large building. Note the people joining hands in the foreground and Freeman's photo wagon on the left side of the image. The view has a great 3D effect. The image was photographed by J. Freeman, Nantucket. You will find a name written very lightly in pencil on the verso. There is a small spot in the grass of the left image and overall soiling. Please view the enlargeable scans carefully and contact me with any questions. Over the coming months we will be thinning out our collection focused on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and the South Shore. We plan to offer many books, maps, photographs and other ephemera of various towns on the Cape and Islands along with the coastal area south of Boston.
